Narrowbeam Dredger Barge For Sale

TheShipBrokers.com are happy to offer this Narrowbeam Dredger Barge for sale. She is perfect for use on canals, inland waterways and shallow water in harbours.

The 1960s 40ft barge comes complete with a crew”s cabin, spud legs, great engine, long reach excavator arm with digger bucket attachment.

As you can see from the pictures that were taken in December 2017 the boat is in fantastic shape, she has been lovingly maintained by her former owners who used her to maintain the local canals and waterways.

She currently needs a small hydraulic issue fixing with the pump that drives the propeller and is priced for a quick sale.

All hydraulics were recently replaced. All in perfect condition apart from the pump that actually drives the boat forwards/aft. Servicing/repairs estimated at 2k.

Spuds and arm work independently of that so she still is fully functioning apart from propulsion.

The engine is a long stroke 2 cylinder Lister diesel driving new 2 stage hydraulic pump that is in excellent condition and well serviced. She has a 500lt Diesel tank.

We are still waiting to get her back to our yard in Portsmouth when we can get even more pictures, measurements and information.

If you would like to come and the see the Dredger for yourself we would be more than happy to show her to you. To arrange a viewing call 023 9298 4666 or email brokerage@theshipbrokers.com to speak to one of our team.
